"So many people spend their health gaining wealth, and then have to spend their wealth to regain their health" - A. J. Reb Materi

"As I see it, every day you do 1 of 2 things: build health or produce disease in yourself." - Allen Davis

"The greatest wealth is health." - Virgil

We're back! Boy it feels good to be back. And what better way to come back, than by starting off with health matters?

Okay, we've covered the importance of looking good in this article - Looking Good vs. Good-looking

Now, we'll get to tackle how to increase sexual fitness by getting into shape. When I say "shape", it doesn't mean you have to be Ronnie Coleman or Arnold Swartzenegger. You just need to be fit. I'm sure you'd want that. Not only will you be hot with women, but you'll have a better life, just because you're healthier; and you know what they say, health is more important than wealth.

So the following are some of the tips I have been following all through my life. Here goes:

1st: Know your beginning.

That means, you must have a initial, general knowledge of your body. You should determine if you are under-weight, over-weight, obese, thin, fat, of medium-built or have an athletic body.

2nd: Know your goals.

Are you aiming for that super big and buff body? Or for that slim, athletic body? What sport are you doing your body-building for?

Knowing this will give you a direction in body building, so you know what to strive for; and also give you the proper diet you need to follow for your body.

Not everybody strives for just generally big muscles you know.

3rd: Find a good gym to train or work out in.

A good gym should be accessible to you. It should not be too far from your home or your office or your school so as to make it inconvenient for you to work out.

It should also contain all the necessary equipments needed for a decent gym.

4rth: Find a reputable trainer, listen to what he says, and abide by his rules.

This is pretty self-explanatory.

5th: Have a wingman.

That just means, have a training partner. Having a training partner will help you because your workouts won't be boring in the long run as you have a training partner to talk to. And having one will keep you motivated in working out as well, since you 2 will motivate each other to work out.

Just be sure the training partner you picked is not a slacker, because slacking is contagious.

6th: Be disciplined enough during the first 2 months of training by following your regimen and regular training interval to the letter.

The first 2 months is crucial, because after that, it's already a habit and it will certainly be regular as long as you make time for it.

7th: Live the Spartan Lifestyle.

We're warriors.

So, make this a daily habit. Make it part of your lifestyle. Always find time for it.

You'll know you did this right when you are craving to go to the gym regularly, and you feel awful when you miss 1 or 2 workout sessions.

8th: If you have enough time, do cross-training in other sports or activities, so you'll not merely be a body-builder with a buff body, but rather, just generally an athletic person.

Some activities I find that are helpful in shaping and "beef-ing" up your body are dragon boat rowing, boxing, kickboxing, basketball, and wall climbing.

9th: Don't compromise form and correct posture over too much weight in lifting barbells or dumbbells.

Be sure to have the proper and correct form and posture in executing the body building exercises. Furthermore, be sure to breathe properly during the exercises.

Following this rule religiously will prevent injuries and damage to your body from occurring.

10th: Have a well-balanced, healthy diet.

Your diet should reflect the goal you want for your body, but generally, you shouldn't be lacking in fruits, vegetables, necessary vitamins, minerals, and protein (for amino acids, the building blocks of protein, needed for your muscle to grow).

Some books I would recommend you to read so as to supplement your knowledge in body building is Mike Mentzer's Serious Strength Training. It's comprehensive. It teaches you the proper execution of exercises. It also teaches you the periods of training interval, and the phases of body building. There are a lot of gold in that book, and I seriously recommend it.
