You can't captivate and have a steady base of readers either in Philippine Star or via your own magazine (RJ Ledesma is also the editor-in-chief of UNO Magazine) if you don't know how to sell yourself on print!

Anyway, Hope you enjoy the following article about X Arts in Philippine Star, just published today, July 24, 2013. If you want to read the original article, you may click on this LINK - source of the article.. the original. If not,…

X Arts' Ryu on Television (TV5) for Interview

Definitely. I wasn't able to give an update about my scheduled Valentine's Day interview in Good Morning Club at the TV5 Studio in faraway Novaliches (where the insects come from and where the people from Sabah migrate).

Given that I look like the great national hero of the Philippines Jose Rizal in this photo, taken from the TV5 interview, I guess you do deserve an explanation, if not an update of what occurred during the interview.

All in all, it was fun. I was asked some basic questions by the 2 hosts - Edu Manzano and Christine Bersola-Babao - regarding how to finally break the NGSB (No Girlfriend Since Birth) and NBSB (No Boyfriend Since Birth) curse. It was a really awesome interview, much more memorable than the previous interviews I've been with, just because Tintin knew how to ask questions and Edu was an expert at injecting enjoyment and…

TV5 Valentine's Special LIVE

Interesting turn of events last week, but not really unexpected.

I received a call from some representatives of TV5's Good Morning Club Show requesting me to appear as a guest consultant on their show this Thursday. So I'm so supposed to go to their studio next week - February 14th- Valentine's Day.

I live in Makati, the studio is in Novaliches in front of SM Novaliches. They say that with light vehicular traffic, it's about an hour's drive from my place. With moderate traffic, 2 hours. With heavy traffic, 3 hours. I could've taken a vacation, gone to Tagaytay and would have finished eating bulalo by that time.

It's so far from where I'm staying, I think I was charged for international roaming rates on my post-paid line when I tried calling back. Phew.

Still, notwithstanding this distance-related challenge; plus the fact that I've appeared several times on radio interviews, television shows, televised talk shows, thesis interviews and documentaries; and that they only really remember me during Valentine's season...…

Anti-Seduction: The Rise of the Keyboard Gangster Email

Anti-Seduction: The Rise of the Keyboard Gangster

"Nothing ever becomes real until it is experienced." - John Keats

Technology... Technology has brought us many things. It has made life easier, simpler, more convenient, faster and with the aid of “social media”, brought more people together and more connected with each other.

Unfortunately, with the advent of technology and social media, it also amplified most people’s “geeky” and “nerdy” tendencies. Instead of going out and socializing in person, we just socialize over the internet in the comfort of our room inside our homes, taking the element of eye contact, touching and full contact “vibing” out of the interaction – elements that were supposedly necessary to build a genuine, authentic rapport with each other. Funny, the thing that brought us more connected with each other is also the same thing that made us so unconnected with each other…

Finally, it gave rise to a species of individuals called “The Keyboard Gangsters”.…

Is it Hot in Here? Or is It Just Me? RJ Ledesma’s Imaginary Guide to Flirting, Body Language and Pick Up Artists

I know I know. It’s been a long time since this book was released – this book was released November 2010! – however, late is better than never to review this book. In any case, if somebody asks why it took me more than a year to give a review on this book, I’ll just say “I’m sorry, I’m a slow reader!

The Author

Anyway, this book was written by none other than RJ Ledesma, a Yogi (Yoga Instructor), Columnist, former Commercial Model, Host (TV and Events), Comedian and Entrepreneur. What a portfolio!.

Actually, the most interesting thing about RJ Ledesma has to do with his being a columnist since he writes “Pogi from a Parallel Universe”– a column under the Lifestyle Section in the Philippine Star in its Wednesday edition; and with his being a TV host since he is currently one of the 3 main hosts of…

Is The Summit the Key? - Of Change, Integrity and Getting Laid

"When you are through changing, you are through." - Bruce Barton

"He who rejects change is the architect of decay.  The only human institution which rejects progress is the cemetery." - Harold Wilson

The 2011 Philippine Seduction Summit is drawing near. The purpose of the convention is to present men and women with the right attitude in dealing with the opposite sex and with life, in general. Of course, another purpose is for the guys to get together, sarge a bar, and declare Club d' etat (another name for club takeover)! Now ain't that a scene?!

But let's stick to the main objective of the Summit, the main objective of X Arts, and the main objective of this community.

Change

Change. Isn't it a cliche? You will have to agree with me that the word have become so common that you it didn't take you more than a second (or 100th,…

Why the Philippine National Police (PNP) needs X Arts Email

Why the Philippine National Police (PNP) needs X Arts

"The most important trip you may take in life is meeting people halfway"
- Henry Boyle

"Let us move from an era of confrontation, to an era of negotiations"
- Richard Nixon

Last night, the entire Filipino nation, not only in the Philippines, but all over the world, tuned in to their television sets, as they were made witnesses to the hostage drama crisis unfolding last night in Quirino Grandstand, Luneta.

To have an overview of the story of the hostage drama crisis, click this LINK.

PNP's Biggest Mistake

Contrary to popular belief, the biggest mistake the government authorities made in handling the hostage crisis, was not during the assault, but during the negotiations period.

Our policemen should take lessons in the art of negotiations and the rules of engagement. Truth be told, they are totally incompetent in this area. I can't blame them, the government totally deprived them of training…

X Arts End of the Year Address: The Light and The Sound Email

X Arts End of the Year Address: The Light and The Sound

"Notice I didn't say 'Happy New Year'? Because if you're focused on eternity, every year is the same as the last one." - A wise man

"I made no resolutions for the New Year. The habit of making plans, of criticizing, sanctioning and molding my life, is too much of a daily event for me." - Anais Nin

"This is our time, our year, our moment! Own it and conquer it!" - Ryu Uy

Today, we find ourselves on the 1st day of the year 2010 – the year of the tiger. A lot has happened since X Arts was officially formed back in January of 2008. X Arts is now 2 years old, but the real core of X Arts started back in 2006 when I first started teaching boot camps, so I can say that X Arts is now 4 years in the making. However, 2009 had been a transformational year for our community, and it’s worth taking a look back at this year, to see what all of us had accomplished.

2009 for the Filipinos

2009 might have been a year of extremes of highs and lows for the Philippine nation. The lows include the death of a lot of icons; namely Francis Magalona – Filipino godfather of hip hop; former President Corazon Aquino – icon of democracy in Asia; and Michael Jackson – undisputed king of pop idolized by almost all of the singers and dancers of our generation. We were also witnessed to a preview of the great deluge when typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng hit Manila and Northern Luzon, and also the dreaded, horrific and abominable Maguindanao Massacre. At least we also experienced a lot of highs this year, with Manny Pacquiao leading the way for all the Filipinos, winning his 7th world title in as many weight divisions this year – the only fighter in history to do so; Efren Penaflorida winning CNN hero of the year; and Charice Pempengco singing her way to international stardom.

2009 for the Philippine Seduction Community

As regards our community, 2009 had been a fruitful year. Our website became more active, and the forum was launched in late January 2009. We were able to dominate the Philippine scene and we’re now regarded as the premier seduction community here. We were also listed in www.asiandating superstars.com and topped the ratings in seductionlist, among others. We are slowly gaining ground in the international seduction community, and proving that Filipinos can definitely be the best lovers and seducers in the world.

X Arts also paved the way in the Philippine mainstream media. We have had 2 separate interviews in 2 reputable Philippine newspapers – in the Manila Times by Ana Santos and in the Philippine Star by RJ Ledesma. We also did a great interview in 94.7 and a funny and awesome interview with Boys Night Out last November. We held 2 PUA Summits this year, and each Summit gets better and better, with a lot more people leveling up their game and graduating from the default PUA mindset.

This year also saw the departure of 1 of our instructor and skill set specialist, Smooth. His trip to Davao and Laguna has proved most memorable, and spreading X Arts to different parts of the Philippines had been fruitful because of him. He had to depart X Arts for personal reasons and to achieve his own personal goals, and we wish him luck and good health in his future endeavors. Thank you for helping bring X Arts to what it is today.…

Thoughts about the recent Grand X Arts Summit Email

Thoughts about the recent Grand X Arts Summit

"I'll not gonna tell you what you WANT to hear, I'll tell you what you NEED to hear." - Ryu X

It was a huge success. The recently conducted Grand PUA Summit last November 7, 2009 caused a lot of breakthroughs and shattered a lot of limiting beliefs. However, it is easily the most controversial of all the 4 summits already held by X Arts.

Before the Summit even began, I was already telling people in the X Crew how it is going to be the most explosive summit ever to be conducted, and it packs the best and most loaded content out of any summit we ever prepared for. And it was, without a doubt. However, it did stir a lot of controversy, with primary one being that there is a conflict between me and Smooth, one of the Lead Instructors of X Arts. So here I am to address the controversies surrounding the recentlly conducted summit.

During my lecture, I basically shattered a lot of the frames and mindsets of the common PUA, which basically limits their growth. I've been in the community for around 5 years, so i know and experienced enough to solve the common sticking points of most PUA's. I just stated the cause of the sticking points and how to solve them during the lecture.…

  52 PICK-UP
POGI FROM A PARALLEL UNIVERSE By RJ Ledesma <-- Click here to see original article

Ladies beware: Yes, there is an actual website that offers bootcamps on how to smooth-talk women.

Juch like professional boxers, pick-up artists (PUAs) spend years in intense training — getting intensely kneed in the groin, ducking waywardly thrown stiletto heels and building up an immunity to hydrochloric acid being thrown in the face.

This is the second part of our interview with three PUAs who have learned to take embarrassment, rejection and lawsuits in stride: X, Smooth and Charlatan of AttraXion Arts. Contrary to what my three female readers might think, it’s not easy being a PUA: you have to pick up a specified quota of women per month or else your license will be revoked and you will be demoted instead to picking up blow-up dolls and avatars.

License & Registration, Please

PHILIPPINE STAR: Let me get this straight — you guys are known as certified pick-up artists? Is it a profession you can proudly write down on a bank application to secure a salary loan? And does the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) know about this?

SMOOTH: I don’t have to say that I’m certified, but they do call me certified.

I’m sure they do.

Being a PUA is a full-time thing. I even left the US military to become a PUA.

The wars they could have won.

CHARLATAN: Sometimes if you tell a girl that you are a PUA, your value increases.

Your value? Like your value on a “most wanted” poster?

And women dig men with higher values.…
